This presentation provides an explanation of school district responsibility to those students identified as gifted under Chapter 16 of the Pennsylvania Code.  This discussion focuses on issues such as appropriate gifted evaluations, gifted IEPs, and the differences between a school district's responsibility to the gifted child versus the disabled child.
