Since the enactment of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) in 1996, a lot of fear and concerns have been raised about how HIPAA applies to public schools and the implications of non-compliance.  This seminar will focus on how and when HIPAA applies to public schools and the steps required to meet HIPAA's privacy requirements.
