Students are subject to discipline for violating school rules.  In disciplining students, it is important that professional staff, in particular administrators, are aware of the rules that govern them in how they discipline students.  Courts have reversed student disciplinary actions when the school district itself failed to follow these rules.  Importantly, recent revisions to Chapter 12 of the state regulations significantly changed the rules, particularly for expulsions.  This seminar will update administrators on the new rules, and teach them how to properly investigate and discipline students.
