Lochinger Named Partner at Sweet Stevens

New Britain, PA – Shawn D. Lochinger of Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams LLP has been promoted to partner. Lochinger represents clients in all areas of education law, including special education and labor and employment law.

“Shawn has brought an insightful and multifaceted understanding of special education law to our clients, having worked in both private practice and as a hearing officer for gifted education,” said managing partners John G. Audi and Sharon W. Montanye. “We are proud to have him continue to represent the firm’s clients on the state and federal level and before administrative educational courts.”

Lochinger focuses his practice on employment discrimination, labor and employment, the Right-to-Know law, special education and student services. He has extensive experience in due process hearings, in providing day-to-day advice on special education matters, and in working with clients to resolve situations that arise in the special education field. Lochinger regularly conducts in-house training sessions on sexual harassment, employment discrimination, special education and numerous other employment and education law topics.

He is a graduate of Washington & Jefferson College and Duke University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
