Sweet Stevens Attorneys Named to 2018 Super Lawyers

New Britain, PA – Three attorneys from Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams LLP were named to the newest Pennsylvania “Super Lawyers” list.

The firm’s managing partner Ellis H. Katz has been included on the list annually since 2009. Partner Thomas C. Warner was selected for the fourth consecutive year to the list of “Rising Stars.” Kyle J. Somers, a new addition the firm, makes his debut on the list of Rising Stars for 2018.

Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The patented selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. The Rising Stars list adopts the same patented multiphase selection process for candidates 40 years of age or younger, or in practice for less than ten years.

Super Lawyers Magazine is published in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., reaching more than 24 million readers.

Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams, LLP was formed in 1995 by nine experienced education lawyers who created the first private law practice in Pennsylvania dedicated entirely to Education Law.  Since then, the firm has grown to 14 attorneys who represent over 290 school and municipal entities as Solicitors or as Special Counsel in more than 50 counties throughout Pennsylvania.
