Linnell Asroff to present on Title IX at NSAA Spring Virtual Conference
New Britain, PA – Kalani Linnell Asroff, Esq. of Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams LLP will present on special education and Title IX law at the National School Attorneys Association (NSAA) Spring Virtual Conference on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
The session, titled “Overlapping Obligations: Advising Districts on Title IX Matters Involving Students with Disabilities,” will be co-presented by Linnell Asroff and Texas-based attorney Rebecca S. Bailey.
The session will examine the intersection of Title IX obligations and disability protections in cases involving students with behavioral, emotional, or communication-related needs. The presenters will walk attendees through the legal frameworks that govern these matters and highlight the critical considerations districts must address at every stage of the Title IX process.
The session will feature an interactive, scenario-based format, using hypotheticals drawn from real-world cases and practitioner experience. It is geared toward attorneys with a strong foundation in school law, including those who regularly handle Title IX matters. Key topics include staff training, documentation, supportive measures, manifestation determinations, and maintaining procedural integrity while ensuring compliance with both Title IX and disability laws.
Linnell Asroff brings extensive experience and nationally recognized leadership in Title IX compliance. She works closely with administrators, principals, and school boards, guiding districts through every phase of the Title IX process—from intake and investigation to hearings and final resolution.
