Sweet Stevens Launches Virtual Title IX Coordinator Training Series

Posted on

New Britain, PA - As schools nationwide confront sweeping Title IX regulatory changes and heightened expectations for compliance, Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams LLP is launching multiple options for an intensive, virtual Title IX coordinator training bootcamp to help districts meet their obligations with confidence and convenience.

The first training session offered will take place August 21, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. and will be led by Kalani Linnell Asroff and Sharon W. Montanye, proficient Title IX practitioners with hands‑on experience guiding districts through investigations, OCR inquiries, crisis response, and policy development.

Participants will receive practical instruction on:

  • Policy drafting and regulatory compliance
  • Regulatory grievance procedures, investigation protocols, and documentation
  • Supportive measures and interim actions
  • Special education intersections
  • Crisis management for sensitive matters
  • Timely legal issues and case law updates

The coordinator training is free of charge for up to five administrators in districts who are already members of the firm’s Title IX Pool Counsel service, a subscription package that provides access to an extensive library of model forms, checklists, templates, and guidance documents, as well as timely email updates with answers to various operational questions from subscribers. Districts not currently enrolled in Title IX Pool Counsel may register for a single session for $900 per person.

As it covers law and regulations that are federal in nature, these training courses are open to lawyers and administrators nationwide. The deadline to register for the August 21 session is August 14; those interested in doing so may contact Julie Rech at JRech@sweetstevens.com. For those interested but unable to attend in August, additional sessions are planned for September 25 and October 12.

Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams, LLP was formed in 1995 by nine experienced education lawyers who created the first private law practice in Pennsylvania dedicated entirely to Education Law.
