Sweet Stevens Lawyers are Super

(New Britain, PA) – Two attorneys from Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams LLP remain firmly in place on the newest list of “Super Lawyers” in Pennsylvania.

The 2017 edition includes Ellis H. Katz, managing partner of the firm, who has been named a Super Lawyer annually since 2009, and partner Thomas C. Warner, who was included on the list of “Rising Stars” by Super Lawyers for the third consecutive year.

Super Lawyers is a patented rating service of lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research as well as peer nominations and evaluations. The Rising Stars list is developed using the same patented multiphase selection process except candidates must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for ten years or less.

Super Lawyers Magazine is published in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.K., reaching more than 13 million readers.

Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams, LLP was formed in 1995 by nine experienced education lawyers who created the first private law practice in Pennsylvania dedicated entirely to Education Law.  Since then, the firm has grown to 16 attorneys who represent over 290 school and municipal entities as Solicitors or as Special Counsel in more than 50 counties throughout Pennsylvania.
