(Lancaster, PA) – Attorneys from Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams LLP delivered a program that is now known as the highlight of the annual conference of the Pennsylvania Association of Pupil Service Administrators (PAPSA). The conference took place April 11-13, 2018 at the Eden Resort in Lancaster, PA.

While there are a number of sessions and networking opportunities overall, the team from Sweet Stevens – which included Jane Williams, Sharon Montanye, and Tom Warner – presented the conference finale in the “Paul Stevens Memorial Legal Seminar,” which spans the final full day of the event. During this program each year, the attorneys review legal issues and recent court decisions that affect the conduct of special education and pupil services-related school programs.

PAPSA is the only organization in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania specifically devoted to issues concerning pupil services programs in schools. Members of the organization have supervisory or administrative responsibility in fields such as counseling, health, psychology, home and school visitation, social work, special education, gifted education and student assistance.
