Kyle Somers Joins Sweet Stevens
New Britain, PA - Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams, one of the most well-recognized law firms in the region known for its dedication to and experience in education law, has again expanded its team through the addition of associate Kyle J. Somers.
Kyle Somers has a rich, multifaceted background in education that spans both the legal side and that of an educator. In his law practice, he advises school entities in matters involving special education, students with disabilities, employment and labor issues, and general legal issues. His interaction with clients and understanding of their day-to-day challenges is bolstered by his training as an educator.
He is a Pennsylvania-certified teacher with a degree in History Education from the University of Delaware, where he received both the College of Arts and Sciences’ Outstanding Student Teacher Award and the William B. Keene Memorial Scholarship for a student showing exceptional promise as a future educator. He also taught a course on school law at Ursinus College, and regularly conducts in-school training on various issues for clients.
